Take to the streets next weekend to see inspirational outdoor art work at Dance Days in Swansea, as well as networking at the Independent Street Arts Network On the Road event.

The coffees will be strong and the pastries stable.

Wales Outdoor Arts Consortium – New commissions tour July – Sept

‘The CarCrash Wedding’ – Gary & Pel (Alex Marshall Parsons & Kim Noble) and ‘Electioneering’ – Mr and Mrs Clark start their Wales tour this July, starting at Dance Days Swansea.

These works have been commissioned by Articulture in collaboration with Wales Outdoor Arts Commissioning Consortium (WOAC).

Wales Outdoor Arts at Greenwich & Docklands International Festival & Xtrax professional showcase

A record breaking 25 artists, venues, funders, and producers attended the Xtrax Professional Showcase and Greenwich & Docklands International Festival 2017 this June, to network, pitch, and see the best of new international outdoor arts work.

Guest Producer blog – Reporting back: International Outdoor Arts Conference 'Fresh Street 2' & Imaginarius Festival, Portugal

In May 2017 Rosie Strang, Articulture Co-Director from Articulture Wales, attended ‘Fresh Street 2’ an International Outdoor Arts Conference in Portugal along with 350 outdoor arts delegates from 40 countries. The aim – to explore, share, and discuss outdoor arts along the theme of ‘From Innovation to Sustainability’. The event was followed by international outdoor arts Festival ‘Imaginarius’.

Read her account of what its like to connect and learn with the worldwide movement of outdoor art, taking part as a contingent representing Wales, and how attending this kind of event can been really inspiring and energizing for artists and producers.
