Arts Council Ireland has announced its new funding framework (2018 – 2020) Making Great Art Work with 5 new categories.

This new framework is part of the Council’s commitment to review all existing funding programmes to ensure that the artist and public engagement is embedded across all of its future funding supports.

ISACS @ Mirabilia Fest

Many thanks to Culture Ireland for supporting ISACS artists MaletaDueda and Francesca Castellano, who took part in #Focus Su Irlanda at Mirabilia Festival

In addition, the ISACS team also attended the Circostrada General Meeting working on a variety of projects including the preparation of Fresh Street #3 hosted by ISACS in Galway in 2019 in partnership with Galway 2020 and NUIG.

Wires Crossed
Wires Crossed – First steps

Wires Crossed – A Balancing Act For Europe took its first steps in Galway this month. 

Wires Crossed is an anchor project of Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture, produced by ISACS member Galway Community Circus which aims to train some 400 people in the art of funambulism (wire walking) over the next four years.
