LOOKING AHEAD

As well as our new show SEED we are working on The Celestial Sound Cloud – created by Eleanor in 2016 as a digital light commission for Kendal Calling and Walk The Plank this will be redeveloped for after dark and day time touring after July. A beautiful cosmos of 5 interdependent sound and light nebulae.

Not to forget we have some seasoned favourites back in action too…  The Bee Cart and The Flycycle & The Submercycle are on hand to entertain.

For more info on Pif-Paf please visit our website www.pif-pf.co.uk and for booking please contact Marianne, email: pifpaftheatre@gmail.com.

Bank Holiday Monday fun was had by all.

Cor and blimes! The Blossom is truly Blossoming!

We've been kept very busy with the arrival of two new mini Pif-Paffers Little Evie and Freyja Sunshine and now we're back! –  Shedonism, Circus 62, SEED, Celestial Sound Cloud and the first gigs of '17 already go. We've got new shows, seasoned classics and a healthy calendar of bookings.

SEED

We can't wait to introduce SEED, Pif-Paf's brand new one man show.
A surprising and inspiring hitch-hike on the journey from small acorns to great oaks with Rockabilly Tree-Planting Anarcho-Nomad Wilford and his Chicken Napoleon. They're planting trees where they shouldn’t, living in Wilford's shed and on the run from his past and his arch-enemies – the Robot Slug Police – out to get him for his contraband seeds. SEED follows them through a VERY tough day.

Premieres at GDIF 24th & 25th June. Previews and more dates confirmed, check out all Pif-Paf tour dates here.

What we've been up to:

CIRCUS 62
With our friends Victoria Works and Civic Barnsley we decided Mar 22nd was the time to put up the big top of life and get the circus crew from Liverpool to Hull and Bradford to Derby under one roof  for a focused day of inspiration, discussion, circus participation, dreaming, plotting, food and a scratch night,

The day went down a storm with 50 people in to enjoy a heart on sleeve presentation from Wendy Hesketh from Wired Aerial then 11 Skill Shares, 10 discussions, 5 scratch shows and 2 meals (not in that order). It looks like Circus62 will return in 2017 hosted in Bradford.

SHEDONISM
We've joined the steering group of Shedonism – a mystery shrouded gathering of welding masked engineers at 101 Outdoor Arts – This was year 2, no mysteries just an on going working out of what Shedonism is – this year it was 8 makers, 3 days, one Burn's night and the making of the chainsaw scooter, telescopic chair, hover craft, seahorse unicycle, rubber band sharp shooter and a maniac oven. We will be helping 101 grow Shedonism so keep your eyes peeled.

SNOW WHITE Co-production with Tell Tale Hearts at Barnsley Civic – joined by original and new cast we performed a redeveloped Snow White to fantastic audience response. Our surprise this year was that the Coal FaceCrocs (the dwarves- grown and be-tailed) escaped from the show for a series of street band shows in the local area – taking it to the people!

You can visit our website and watch a short film from the show and view a collection of images by the fantastic Gavin Joynt.
