Ray Lee’s monumental Ring Out at LLAWN Festival

Award-winning artist and British Composer of the Year, Ray Lee presents his latest epic mechanical installation piece Ring Out as part of the LLAWN Festival <simonchatterton.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=90f86af400ad191be03c2c5ba&id=0f81a0dd12&e=af0e41b39e> in Llandudno on Sat 15 & Sun 16 Sept – produced by Welsh arts organisation Soundlands <simonchatterton.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=90f86af400ad191be03c2c5ba&id=ce9291aaad&e=af0e41b39e> .
In Ring Out, a series of industrial giant towers hold suspended bell-like speaker cones, which gradually swing higher and higher until each arm soars up over the heads of the audience. The audience are able to walk around the space, experiencing a series of micro-melodies which shift and changing as the piece progresses.
Ring Out continues the work of multi-award winning composer and artist Ray Lee, Born out of a fascination for the invisible forces that surround us, his distinctive combination of sound and kinetic sculpture has thrilled audiences the world over.
