The KEEP STREETS LIVE album has launched!!!

Our latest album has music from TEN musicians who support the phenomenal work of Keep Streets Live in the UK. KSL has protected the rights of street performers (and in some cases the homeless) from oppressive new legislation.

KSL is one of the most successful busker advocates in the world. If you'd like to support them, us, and 24 buskers (and counting) from all over the world, go here to donate – and get a new album every month!!

We just pushed a ton of minor changes; a more consistent colour palette, normalisation of fonts, a slide animation for flash messages and a "switch" between PayPal and card donations; you can no longer become your own fan, donate to yourself or send messages to yourself; and the "genre" functionality is more intuitive on signing up, and you can choose the one that represents you most (if you're cross-discipline).

I've just published an interview I did with busker collective Galway Street Club, about fights, loves and the meaning of busking itself. It's long, but they’re great storytellers, so I promise you’ll enjoy every bit of it. And I’m not saying this because I conducted it, but it's definitely the best interview we’ve ever done 🙂

Also, we are STILL LOOKING FOR SUBMISSIONS from buskers to be part of Jamie Catto’s documentary film about Ram Dass – thanks to all of you who have already applied! They're espcially looking for instrumentalists. Don’t know what we’re talking about? Find more info here.

My favourite part of the week was listening to this busker-themed song, "Nickel in The Jar" by Steve E.
