(As I am sure you know by now…) Circus Futures is the UK & ROI Coorganiser for CircusNext, which is a €2.5m four year project [2013-2017] seeking to assist emerging circus artists across Europe likely to become a driving force in contemporary circus in Europe. Circus Futures is a UK based organisation that works on projects relating to circus artists and is funded by Arts Council England to run a UK talent development programme during 2014-2017. CircusNext is Coordinated by Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe (FR.)

Last Call ….. Circus Futures UK National Circus Meeting
London Friday 20th January 2017 10:30 to 17:00
Last Chance to Register and Apply to Speak!!!
The purpose of the day is to discuss current UK circus activity and then chat about plans that individuals and organisations have to celebrate the anniversary of circus in 2018, or that people are seeking partners to develop.
A big thank you to everyone who booked their place. The event is super close to "selling out" as over 65 places have gone already. If you want to grab a last place (or sorry if those last spots have gone by the time you read this and you would like to be put on the waiting list) please click here:
If you would be interested in being selected to be one of the Pecha Kucha speakers at the meeting please enter your details in this form here. Later in the day there will be time for everyone to be involved, as the morning has the formal presentations and the afternoon has slots for short individual presentations (info will be sent about these to those who have booked a place at the event) and also general catch-ups.
The afternoon slots are shorter than the morning slots so if you want to have pole position to speak you have less than 12 hours to request a slot in the morning, as the selection of speakers is being made tomorrow! The Pecha Kucha method is super easy –  just book a slot, create a few slides with nice pictures to send to us, stand up and tell everyone about your project, and in return you have a guaranteed audience. Simples!
The session is being facilitated by Orit Azaz and the venue details will be circulated to those who have booked places in the next 24 hours.
Don't forget that this event is taking place at the same time as the London International Mime Festival. Performances on Friday 20th January 2017 are Leandre at Jackson's Lane 20:00, Sacekripa at The Barbican 18:30, Theatre Re at Shoreditch Town Hall 20:00. Visit to see the full programme.
Also in town is Bianco by NoFit State Circus as part of The Southbank Centre’s Winter Festival. Visit to book tickets – there is a performance on 20th January at 19:30.

Thank you for your interest. Any questions do ask.

Circus Futures is grateful to be in receipt of funding from Arts Council England and the European Commission.

Please pass this Newsletter onto anyone that you think would be interested in attending the events, share on Facebook and Twitter. New subscribers can sign up through the Circus Futures website.
