Founded in 2005, Festive Road began as a traditional carnival arts company, but over the years our cultural and artistic activity became more diverse, and we evolved into a wider outdoor arts organisation. This change has enabled us to be more creative and inclusive.

We have developed innovative techniques to make unique, mechanically-powered, giant puppets and structures. Our fusion of art and engineering brings imagination and technology together in ingenious and inspiring ways.

Utilising recycled materials whenever possible, we show that discarded and unwanted items can be given an exciting and creative new lease of life.

We work with culturally diverse organisations, groups and artists to bring a wide range of events to all sectors of the community; helping to increase public enjoyment of, and engagement in, arts and culture .

We believe art crosses all barriers – giving people a commonality, beyond language, cultural & physical differences.
